In 2009 we will be focusing on "Loving God, Loving Others: Live to Give God’s Welcome" Scripture emphasis comes from the book of Luke.
Luke 4:18-19 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s
welcome .”
We have had some wonderful studies this year. Please come join us this summer while we will explore how to give and receive God's welcome through scriptures taken from Daniel, 2 Corinthians and Acts. UPCOMING EVENTS!!!! November 15, 2009 - We will observe communion and footwashing with a fellowship meal following Sunday School.
December 6, 2009 - Church wide Christmas caroling and fellowship afterwards. If you're unable to go out caroling there will be a time of singing Christmas Carols and sharing in the sanctuary at 5:00 p.m. December 24,2009 - Christmas Eve Service - 8:00 p.m. |
